What a wonderful Christmas we had! I was so surprised that two families (Which we had no idea who they were) would give us so much stuff. I was so shocked at the things they got me when I opened them up! I thought I was going to cry. Because earlier this year my mom was without a job and I new that there wouldn't be as much presents as before. I'm seriously not joking. It's like Jesus went shopping for us. He must really love us very much! I thought earlier this year that God just absolutely hated me. I'm serious. So I just kept hatred in my heart for months. My family would try and try to help me not be so worried. But I just wouldn't believe it. Did that solve the problem? NO, of course not! But later this week I decided to let it go. I feel so much better now. So anyways I'm so thankful that God gave me a wonderful Christmas this year! Kayli got a ton of horse stuff she always wanted from one of the first families. Like cowgirl boots, Horse watch, Horse puzzle........I can't even name them all down. I loved seeing the look on her face when she opened every single present. I can't believe that Zoe got a camera from a total stranger!!! WOW!!! She was seriously shocked.
I got two pairs of doll clothes from total strangers! They were adorable...absolutely adorable! I got everything I was hoping for and wanted for Christmas. Thank you God for loving and taking care of us this Christmas!

Opening stockings on Christmas Eve
Every year on Christmas Eve we open up our stockings. So my mom tortured all of us and said," You will have to wait''. Oh she is so stubborn. So when it's time to open our stockings my mom said to pick one at a time. We got a lot of special treats. Gum, toys, and candy. Sugary things which are always the best! Don't you think?
Spending Time with our Adopted Grandparents
Last week we went to our adopted grandparents house to spend an early Christmas with them. We ate dinner with them. We all had Papa Murphy's pizza. Canadian Bacon and Pineapple, and also Chicago style pizza. YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY!!! Then after we ate dinner we opened up presents. We each got a card with a picture of a butterfly. Mr Rick is a photographer and he took close up pictures of beautiful butterflies. My butterfly is called a Juliet. Then inside the card was a $20 bill!
The Nutcracker
Last week we went to the Nutcracker. The dancers were beautiful! But I have to say that the men's tights were absolutely way to tight! I mean you could tell that they had big muscles, but you don't have to show so much detail! You couldn't even tell if they had any underwear or not! But the girls were absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't even believe that the little kids were dancing like....professionals! Anyways it was great! Here is my friend Clarissa and I waiting for the play to start.

Gingerbread Houses
On Monday we went to our library. My mother signed us all up to make Gingerbread houses. We also went last year with our friends, the Olson's. We all had so much fun. In this picture I was really tempted to taste that sweet, flavorful candy in my mouth, soaking in it's flavor. Just writing about it makes me hungry. And I did NOT nibble on any candy.......well.......sort of....at least I.......OH I admit it. I did eat a couple! We had fun and my house is now already half eaten.
It's pretty simple to make one. All you need is to tape two little milk cartons together on a small piece of cardboard. You use frosting to glue the graham crackers on the milk cartons. Then you use frosting to glue on the candy to the graham crackers. Joyfully,

Thanksgiving
I am so thankful that the Lord is healing my mother. It may not seem fast, but she is getting better and better everyday. So this Thanksgiving, I'm thankful that the Lord let my mama live longer in the earth, like she wasn't supposed too. So this afternoon we made this advent wreath that we are supposed to do today. I'm very excited!!! Our advent book that we are going to do is called Bartholomew's Passage. And my sister Kayli made the candles!!! Didn't she do a fantastic job?
So on Thanksgiving my cousin Jonah planned to do an Amazing Race. Which I thought would be fun and scary at the same time. Why? Because you never know what a very brilliant young man might do. So, Jonah said that the prize would be half a bag of tootsie pops. YUMMY!!!! So Kayli and I were on a team and I have to say that we were a wonderful team!!!There was also a disgusting thing. Oh writing about it makes me want to throw up!!! EEEWWW!!! OK, well it was like frosting with playdough and tons of sugar. And when I went to get the disgusting thing there was this bowl with the.......disgusting thing in it, and I thought I had to eat the whole thing so I started taking big spoonfuls of it. But then Jonah said, "Gross don't put it back in!!!" I said oh I thought I had to eat the whole thing. So I guess I didn't really pay attention to the directions. But I'm telling you that the stuff was GROSS!!!!!
But we ended up being in second place. The winners were my cousins Josiah and Solomon. And my sister Zoe and my cousin Tirzah were in third. But we still got a prize. We each got two tootsie pops.
What a wonderful Thanksgiving I had! And at the end we got to frost cookies. Yum...more sugar!!! We had sugar cookies, chocolate cookies, peanut butter chocolate chip popcorn, and Oreo truffles, chocolate pudding, and pumpkin bars with cream cheese on it. I had a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope you did too!!

Orchestra Hall
On Sunday we went to Orchestra Hall. My whole family went. Plus, we got two extra tickets to go. So, we invited my Aunt Carissa and my cousin Tirzah. We all had so much fun!!! Here is what the building looks like. The music was wonderful. We also got very good seats. We sat in the front row of the first balcony. But I wished we could go on the very top. But at least we got to go up in the balcony.
In the background of this picture there were cubes that looked like they were popping out at you. They were on the ceiling and on the wall. They had really funny music. One time there was a turkey coming out and he made really funny jokes. Then there was a star wars song and Darth Vader came out and was acting like he was the master of everything.
After the Orchestra we took some wonderful pictures. You can see that I have Molly in my arms. I got her all dressed up for her first Orchestra concert. I put her hair in a bun myself. My mom did Dorthy braids in my hair, It's from the Wizard of Oz. I loved my cousins hair. She said that she left her hair in braids for two days. Kayli had two little braids and my mom weaved in a ribbon in each braid. Zoe already has wavy hair so my mom put in a very cute clip in. All of our hair was very beautiful that day.

Climbing a tree
Yesterday, I wanted to make a movie of how I climb a tree. This is not a professionally done movie. lol So I hope you like these movies. The first movie is called What Goes Up. And the second is called Must Come Down. Thanks for following my blog!!!
Campfire in the backyard
This afternoon we decided to go make a campfire after school. Zoe and I went to start the fire. We got the wood, and put the newspaper in. Then it's time to light the fire, well that's a long story. I don't know how many times we tried but it was a lot! We probably used 30 matches!!! We would get it on fire and then it would blow out! What's the deal here? Finally, we got it to burn and started roasting marshmallows. But we burned our marshmallows into charcoal. It was really gross but really good at the same time. I thought this was so funny. Kayli's marshmallow was on fire and she kept blowing...

Great Grandma's here!!!
The Tea Party
Molly at the salon!!!
When we were at Mall of America we went to the American Girl doll store and saw Molly's hair really curly. So we asked a hair salon person [who was a BOY!!! Why would a boy work at a American Girl Doll place?] And he said look in a book. So we looked in a book and it showed us. My mom thought we had to use a curling iron on it, thank goodness we looked in it or else we would have ruined her hair. So we went to My Personal Salon and did Molly's hair. Here is her hair with curlers. And After!!!!! I love Molly, she is so special to me.

I've been Tagged!!
Oh Great!!! I've been tagged. My embarrassing story happened in Russia.
It all started in our hotel that we stayed in. It was time to go to bed, and I was very tired. So when I was sleeping (my mom told me this) I sat up in bed and started to sleep talk. And our roommate was another missionary and they both woke up and were like, "Victoria go to bed!" But of course I was asleep so I couldn't. So I kept talking and talking and our roommate was like, "Laura, make her stop!" She said it in a very serious tone. And the next morning my mom told me, I was SSSSSOOOOOOO embarrassed, I couldn't even talk to her. There.....I accomplished something victorious! So now I'm going to tag one!!! Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!!!

Science Mueseum
I love the science museum! We were doing the news spot. The little ones thought that it was cool to be on the television, so they smiled so everyone could see. My mother thought it was cute so she took a picture and of course I didn't smile because I didn't know she was. I seriously don't like this picture of my face, but I loved the kids in the picture. They are sooooo cute!!! We went in the Goosebumps exhibit. It's supposed to be an exhibit of fear. Like there was fear of loud sounds, fear of creepy crawly things, or fear of falling. We saw this big machine in the fear of falling room and well....we decided to go try it out. But when we were in line, we saw people go on it my sisters and I were like LETS LEAVE!!! But we decided to just DO IT!!!!

Russia
A couple years ago my mom and I went to Russia for a missions trip. I was about 8 years old when I went there. This building was sooo big that when I was there I thought it was a castle for royal people. I just thought it was weird that there was a camel in Russia.
This was an orphan from one of the orphanages we went to. They said that he was starved, caged, and then finally abandoned at some home's front steps. He went without food or water for a long time. Dennis is his name. He was four years old when I went there. And he was the size of an infant who was about 6 months old.
