4th of July 2013

So for the 4th of July we drove down to Alexandria for the day. They had a few activities throughout the day (minute to win it, lets make a deal, wolf trivia game). But on our way there we had to stop at caribou and get a turtle mocha, at least for me anyway... :)

The fireworks and activities were at this resort (fancy smancy). But are you in the mood for a funny story? Ok, well the first game we played was minute to win it. Kayli had to do an m&m challenge, she had a lot of fun. Well Zoe whispers over to me and said "Tori, if I get picked for junk in the trunk you can go up there for me." Immediately I was like NO WAY. But being the kind and LOVING sister I am I decided I would for her IF she was picked. And yes of course she was picked for that game. And YES I went up there and shook my butt in front of 50 people. But later on she got pooped on by a bird so then I felt much better. Memories....gotta love them. XD

They arrived, 20 minutes worth of fireworks. They said the spent $1,500 on them. WOW! I am so glad that God let me live in the land of the free. Thank you to all the people who gave their lives for America's freedom so that we could live in the land of the free.

Valley Fair with Youth Group

 

So after church on Sunday my friends and I went to Valley Fair with our youth group. Second time this year and, it was awesome! I didn't manage to take any pictures at valley fair, but I did take a few on the bus.

 

It was a wonderful day! Also on Thursday we had a girls day out, we went to the St. Cloud University art fair with my moms good friend Cheri Frame. I found this adorable purse that I have been wanting like for the past year but they were so expensive! This one I found for dirt cheap!

1) How would you describe your style?

Fun but simple, lots of bright shirts and shoes

2) What are you wardrobe staples?

Well, I usually wear a Pink T-shirt with a pair of blue jean shorts and my awesome sunglasses. :) I am so getting this summer stuff aren't I?

3) Most expensive clothing item you own?

Wow, umm probably the blue jean shorts I got from Clothes Mentor...I shop super cheap!

4) Most wanted item?

A pair of neon pink shorts

5) Favourite designer?

NO CLUE (as long as its cute and modest and a good price...I get it)

6)How much do you spend on clothing?

Well I have a budget per month so I probably do about $10

Plato's Closet, Clothes Mentor, Goodwill, Heartbreaker, Rue 21, old navy

8) Favourite fragrance?

Hale Berry Cherry Blossom

9) What is your go to outfit when you don't have anything to wear?

A pair of skinny jeans rolled up into capri's, a bright t-shirt with a bright sweatshirt over it and a pair of flip flops.

I currently really love my new tennis shoes and bright neon converse

Garage Sale

 So I have officially found some stuff that I like! Haha! Technically I found this stuff at thrift stores but there similar right? On Tuesday, Goodwill had $1.49 on all green tags. All of these items in this pic were $1.49, (happy dance).

 Then I bought these cute jean shorts at Clothes Mentor for $6... :)

And these ADORABLE sunglasses at Plato's Closet for $6!!! I am so happy!

Hangouts are awesome

 So my friend and I went to a softball game that her family members were playing in. Sadly they lost, but hey..it was ALL GOOD! We took a few pics on our way home and as you can tell SOME people weren't cooperating...haha!

Karate Awards

 Karate has truly been a wonderful and fun experience for me. I am so glad to do it with my good friends and have help from the best instructors!

 All of us got out stripes, I got 100% on my test! Broke 6 boards too!

Partnership

 So on our last day of my co-op some of my good friends did a showing. I had so much fun hanging out with them afterwards. Went to Bills, got and Arizona (LOVE), talked, etc. Life was good!

 Here is Miss Olivia, she took an art class at west and has a major talent!

 She painted this! AMAZING!

Miss Ellie here did a wonderful show for us to watch and did a power point presentation on her trip to Cameroon Africa. Cool! But still this wonderful experience could have been WAY better if I had just one other person there. My friend Peyton is very sick right now and she would very much appreciate prayers. She brightens your day when your down and gives you the best pep talks and knows just what to say to make you laugh. Prayers appreciated, thanks!
