State Fair!
I am so blessed to have a wonderful family that loves me and protects me. My Uncle has just blessed my family to go to the state fair! Thanks Uncle Mike! Here is a pic of a calf that was just born. We actually saw it come into this world! COOL! The mother is cleaning her baby. Everyone there who witnessed the birth got to vote on the name......we named him Doughnut!
We went into the chicken part and a lot of chickens had weird hairdo's. This was my favorite one of all. He was very cute!
We also saw a sheep contest. We all enjoyed that very much. My little sister Kayli liked going up close to them and talking to them.
One of the sheep was really loud! It kept sticking out his tongue and saying BAAA! Very Funny!
Kayli loved seeing the pigs especially the baby ones. So she wore a pig hat! She looked very cute! Sorry about the pics, they're kinda crooked huh?
I got a pig pencil for school!
Here are the adorable goats. They were very sleepy I guess.
Man this pig was FAT and HUGE! Here is a close up on his face. Funny huh!
This pic is so sweet! It's baby close to it's mama.
We enjoyed the best ice cream EVER! Yum! It was so much fun just posing for this picture.

Little House on the Prairie!
Finally we get to go to Walnut Grove! I kept counting the days till this very moment would come! So our first stop was Sleepy Eye. Where Charles would drop things off.
Well next we saw Linus standing in front of this building that was HUGE! Linus actually grew up in Sleep Eye which I didn't know was real. As you probably know Linus is from the Peanuts!
Here we are in Walnut Grove! Oh it seemed forever till we got there. It was probably about 4 hours! So here in front of the museum we saw this prairie wagon in front of the visitors center.
She also got each one of us a prairie bonnet of our own! Thanks Mom!
My mom kept going back and forth on us going to see the museum. But she decided to take us and I am very glad she did! It was one of my absolutely favorite parts! So here is the church which is very very tiny! And now today churches are the size of malls! So much has changed in such little time.
We went into this house called Grandma's house. It had a copy of Charles Ingall's fiddler, and it showed what a old fashioned crock pot looked like. And a very uncomfortable rocking chair.
Also they had an old telephone that was very cool! I always wanted to use one of these!
Oh my word! This room was pure torture! They had a whole bunch of the most beautiful dolls I had ever seen! My mom showed me a collection of dolls that looked like what she had when she was a little girl before they got ruined/lost.
Here is Kayli washing clothes the old fashioned way.
We also found a jail cell. It was very cool to see. We accidentally got put in jail for doing a crime which I can't think of right now? Zoe seems not to like it.
Or Kayli and I! Boo ho!
Here's mom teaching us in a very small school house. And Kayli's in the corner for being very naughty while the teacher is talking. LOL
Here is what we think of it. ( this is not true in real life though Aunt Carissa, in case your wondering. lol!)
All of us farmers!
I really like this picture of me in the background of daisies! Except there were a TON of wasps by me. I held very very still while taking this photo, trust me.
We got to eat lunch at Plum Creek! It was a whole bunch of fun!
Here is a great photo shot of all of us!
Well while we all were playing Kayli all of a sudden said, "Where are my shoes ?" Then we saw her shoes floating down the creek. Ahh chasing after the shoes!
Afterwards we went to Walnut Grove's mercantile. We got 10 cent candy sticks there. It was a very fun cute little store!
We got to go to a pageant in the evening and here are the actors who played as the Ingalls!
A picture of one of the scenes. We actually saw some of our friends the Lacy's! What Fun!

The next day we got to see the actress who played Nellie Oleson and she got to sign one of our little house on the prairie books!
She also got each one of us a prairie bonnet of our own! Thanks Mom!

Garage sale Treasures
Today was an AWESOME week for garage sailing! There were a bunch of garage sales all over Big Lake today. So here is what I bought. A big tin full of shells, and a very cute, soft monkey! There was also a green one but I liked the purple one better. And the most exciting item of all, a beautiful HOPE CHEST! I am so happy and very glad with the price. On the price tag it said it was $5, but I asked if I could have it for $3. Then he said " How about $2.50!" .50 more off, sure! So now I have a Hope chest! YAY!
I also got this pink flowery (girly girl) razor scooter! I always wanted a Razor scooter. So now I can check off a couple of things on my wish list.
Well I had such a good time today! My mom got some other treasures that I'm sure she'll blog about soon. Thank you for following my blog everybody!

4th of July at the Kelley Farm
We had such wonderful time at the Kelley Farm yesterday! We all are so blessed to have freedom in America. I am very proud to be an American. I don't have to starve and worship other gods, and have nice clothes and people to take care of me also love me. So here is a nice picture of all of us in front of the American flag.
While we were listening to a speech we got to hold up a sign. I guess we were supposed to say the words on the flag but I think it would be kind of embarrassing!
Kayli loved feeding the horses hay! I kept watching her pass by with barrels and barrels of hay! Today her back and neck hurt just a little she says!
We also played town ball. It was really fun, there were no strikes and outfielders. I missed in this shot as you can see the ball right by my butt! But It makes me feel better after I missed I hit the ball hard and very hard if I do say so myself!

Treasures and Prizes
We are doing a half price book store summer reading program this summer! I have been working really hard on making reading fun and now I love it! I wouldn't say I'm a total bookworm like Zoe, but for me it's just fine. An hour a day won't hurt a bit. So here is what I got at the half price book store. I got Princess Academy last week and Pride and the Prejudice, Sling shot monkey, and a word search book this week!
Now these are the things I bought with my own money this week for garage saling. I love things with monkeys on them! Can't play enough sudoku, Tirzah already gave me a sudoku book which I totally forgot about but I love sudoku. I found this cute frog coin purse for free. Might be a good Christmas present for somebody? Hmmm? How about ___ Can't say.

Kelley Farm!
My mother had gotten a historical museum pass for museums all over Minnesota! So we went to the Oliver Kelly farm. So this is me and Kayli's idea of the STENCH in the outhouse that you can actually go to the bathroom in.
We went on a specific day because they did Dairy Day! We made butter, it was very messy, slimy, gooey etc. Personally I love making meatloaf so I can squish it all together. Kayli enjoyed it very much too!

Zoe's birthday!
Yeah, it's Zoe's birthday! We all made a surprise birthday party for Zoe when she came home from our cousins house. It was so much fun! We went shopping for balloons and the ingredients for her favorite meals. Zoe loved it! Now she is a teenager! Wow, I can't even imagine that! Here she is opening her presents.

At the beach!
It has been a very long time since we went to the beach. The weather was very nice and sunny, and a perfect day for a picnic on the beach. We walked a little bit down the road, but not too much. My mom was doing great, which was shocking! So we all looked for sea shells and turtles. I need to raise turtles for my science book. Baby turtles actually that are a girl and a boy. So back with my story. Zoe and I were just looking around in the ice chunky water and suddenly a dead fish pops up out of the water. Ewe gross I say! Zoe got a stick, pulled it to shore, and poked its eye ball. When I look behind me the fish is on the stick and Zoe is chasing with it at me. Ugh, sisters! Kayli on the other hand was picking sea shells and cool rocks. I thank the Lord that He gave us nice weather this week. We also did walk the plank with an old tree. The water was freezing cold so I did not very much want to go in it, but I did it with Zoe cause she always makes it more fun. Have a good day everyone!Sincerely,
Tori
